Keep lid tight on fuel tank

A guy at the local hobby store suggested putting a collar on the spring that holds the lid down. Slide it on the end of the spring that touches the tank. This puts extra pressure on the wire spring...

Replacing crankshaft rear bearing-how do I remove?

I am trying to remove the rear bearing to my OS .30 VG. I have removed everything and heated up for 10 minutes at 300 degrees in oven. The bearing didn't budge. Any other ideas?

OS 30VG is cutting off after 2 to 3 minutes

I have reset my needles back to what I beleive are factory settings.
HSN 2 3/4 out from closed
LSN 1 1/2 turns from flush with collar.
It is putting out smoke and runs fine for about 2 to 3...

M2Cracing plates

The balls go on the ends of the hingepins. Make sure you get them all the way in the recess holes before you tighten down the plates.
They are not the weights.

bottom shock caps

Point the opening to the bottom shock caps toward the wheels not toward the inside. If you don't they can pop off.

contact Mitch at M2Cracing.com or go on Carolinasrc.com site for the 3/3 rear plate. The pins ride in balls in the plates and you do not have binding problem.

Same thing happened to my engine. Get some Scotchbrite from paint store and sand by rotating the carb barrel. Of course take the carb apart by taking out the idle screw and taking off the boot....

I went back to silver and gold springs with M2Cracing medium light shoes. Also put 13 tooth bell back on. Combined with JP1 pipe on OS VG.

Will test this out today and see how much POP I can not...

Which clutchbell or you running 13 or 14 tooth?
What type of clutch shoes are you running, soft, medium or hard? Are they 7 or 6 hardness?
