+1 Keep the O rings. I've lost cvd's with the retainers until I discovered the Avid O-rings witch are the same as the Associated parts. Paired up with the boots and you shouldn't have any problems....

Don't bother with the Ti hinge pins, they bend too easily. Ti pins only work in the front uppers. the outer pins will bend on your first run and the inner pins will bend after your first crash.

The Kyosho fit is tight and they are cross drilled. Make sure you get the SP ones. I like them better than the GHEA pistons.

Agreed, red loctite is permanent. You'll have to use a torch to get it off. Use the blue stuff on clean threads and get it plenty tight.

If your going try to glue to nylon, there is only one type of adhesive I would attempt to use. It's called Methyl Methacrylate Adhesive. You can get some at your local hardware store or auto parts...

Any word if BCE will update their RC8 chassis to the new specs soon? I would buy one to upgrade with instead of the new Associated piece unless they make it right from the get go.
