I dont see any Kyosho trucks, probably because they are so pricey.

I think the 4 gear is useful outdoors.
The 3 gear is for indoors.
Ive had better luck with a 4 gear outside racing on large 8th scale tracks.

Gear Diffs versus Ball Diff.
to me my personal opinion gear diffs are better.
You can change fluid in it, it doesnt melt with too much power applied.
They leak but thats because you overfilled it....
