Vaterra Ascender F100 or Redcat Gen8 Scout 2?

I know there are hopups for each of these trucks and they both have their pros and cons.... but i am looking for bang for buck out of the box for the odd back yard crawl....they both look like pretty...

I will be able to answer that in a couple of weeks as im moving from HB to Mugen….and yes the guys I know that have had a few mugen models say the HDD diffs make a huge difference and stay more...

go .5mm - .7mm idle gap, needles flush then fire it up and turn in lsn till you get a steady idle then tune the hsn needle.....you may need to adjust the lsn in or out as you get that hsn needle...

Yes...HB bells are a generic standard diameter I believe, im still running the mod1 pitch on my d817 with a werks clutch with no issues, i presume its just the pitch that is changed on the .8mod...
