if it’s like the XLS re release, I think the diff is what we think is a slipper. The upgrade pro transmission makes it more “normal” I believe.

I’ve not tried to fit any 12mm hexes on my BX, but I’d imagine it’s perfectly doable with some clamping hexes, maybe not Yokomo ones, but thatq shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

I’ve got modern hexes...

You should just be able to bolt on a different set of wheels. I always ran B64 wheels on mine, but I know most of the other guys in the U.K. team ran TLR wheels, as that’s what they had.

I wouldn’t bother with the TMG pistons, everyone I know who has used them, has had them swell up & bind really bad. I thought my shock shafts were bent, but it was the pistons.
