Yup.... it’s lacking a ton. I found the TT01e to be a much better “beginner” chassis. You feel
it with the build and the way it drives. Go figure.

The new trf420 blades are much stronger. That would be a good choice. They have to be sanded down a bit to fit freely also. I believe Spec-R also makes blades for Tamiya outdrives. Look those up.

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if the suspension made a real difference, but sounds like it does. Was the diff leak free? I haven’t had a chance to test it.

Can't say for sure, but I doubt it. The new diff is slimmer. The new diff case is probably better anyway, if it leaks less, and it's lighter.
