I didn't rebuild it yet, I just messed around with the car today after getting it together. So I didn't know it was slipping as bad as it is until I ran it. :)

Ordering the rebuild kit now. ;)

Yessir, but it's so tight already I'm afraid it's going to strip something.

I need to stop being lazy and go disassemble it. Maybe there's some pads/discs that wear and need to be replaced.

Well the belt itself isn't slipping, the slipper clutch is, no matter how much I tighten it.

I'm just going to disassemble it and see what it looks like I guess. :)

Hey all, apologies for the noob question, but I picked up a used XXX-4 off of the 'Bay and the car appears to be in great shape but the slipper looks to be trashed, regardless of how much I tighten...
