according to castle support it might be a software problem, in older versions it does not allow setting the brushed motor type using manual setup. However, using manually setup, the option is there...

I have tried 2 motors with no luck (stock RC18 and Reedy 17T Modified). either screwed or not screwed to the chassis makes no difference. I dont have any brushless motors...
