Yes the Serpent is quieter than the Kyosho, I think it is because the Serpent driveline is straight, my Tamiya is straight also and quiet.

Are these shock pistons in this kit 8 hole 1.3's? The pistons I got are white, untapered 8 holes. According to the setup sheets the only white 8 hole untapered pistons are 1.3. That saves me some...
