Thats what I was planning on lol, hobbyking has some low kv motors 1200kv and 700kv, which should have plenty of torque but not spin overly fast. The problem is that a brushless has 3 wires

I guess my biggest concern is the third wire, that is a signal wire correct? Will the motor run if I use just the positive and negative wires or what? Is there a way to bypass the third wire?
