Well its beeping 6 times but I'm running it at 7 cells. That might just be cause its programmed for 6 and doesn't know what to do for 7, so it just gives me the highest cell.

You can enter programming mode by holding the SET...

You can enter programming mode by holding the SET button down while you switch the unit on. By watching flashing lights and sounds you can change the settings.

First of all, I'm using 2 - 8.4v Venoms 4200mah in parallel to power the unit. When I turn this sucker on it beeps 6 times at me and then I have control over the vehicle.

Says nothing about this...
