Some of my electric vehicles have no problem outdoors with tekin esc's, some do, even with the same servos in on 2 identical vehicles [in my case]. It seems to me the age of the RS has some bearing...

My RS Pro was only showing 2 leds for heat indication [about 140* F] after some hard runs, so I don't think the ESC itself is suffering from heat, but maybe the BEC in the RS is.

In other words, they're doing the same thing the Tekin BEC should be fully capable of doing, but most regulators...

So it would seem the problem is with the RS's BEC dropping out.

I'll be picking up a regulator shortly.

Yes, it does mainly show up under hard acceleration and load [high speed sweeper putting added load on the servo in my case], but a receiver cap did NOT fix my issue. Helped, but did not cure.

I've had the same thing happen, but only outdoors, even with the antenna vertical.

Indoors, even with the antenna laid down horizontal, no problems.

Outdoors, random loss of steering, ESC going...
