Then I must have been very lucky to get an ESC that works perfectly with the Spektrum Rx.

I really do race with it and have never had a problem as mentioned above. Turn it on and go.

Mine has been working great with the Spektrum from day one when I put in the 2.4GHz Rx. I also have no problems using "hot" modified motors with the stock ESC.

Did you go through the set-up...
