Do some reading on what setups the pro drivers are running, most are running a mix of tki3 and tki4 parts. Don't bother buying all of the tki4 parts if you don't need them....

Kyosho never made a TKI3 electric, it is called the MP9e TKI

I found that after a few packs it was almost as quiet as a plastic spur. The steel spur is narrow so it does wear the pinion pretty quickly.
