Run the max and the 3800. That should be a great combo. A fan may do the trick but the max will be more reliable. I havent looked up the max ratings but Im sure the it is higher than the sidewinder...

Just dont try it with a higher turn motor it will cog for sure. Ive tried a 13.5 and 17.5 and its a no go. Never tried anything higher.

Not sure what rx you have but in the futaba Ive run caps and transponders in either of the two extras with no problems at all. I would run the fan in the aux and the cap in one of the extra slots.

up to you, not sure how large pinion you can fit with the 84, the main thing is to get the final drive ratio down. a T4 has to be nutz on this motor I know my SC is!

WIll be looking into this. Mine did the same thing this weekend, had to use an old sidewinder as a backup for the main. It worked fine but worried about long term load handling in the OG esc.
