Whats are the shock limiters they are referring too at the bottom of the PDF? Is that something that goes inside the shock body?

From the pic it looks like you have Part No.72...

From the pic it looks like you have Part No.72 the Suspension bush (Page 21 in the manual) upside down. If you turn it the other way around it will give you the clearance you need.

Thanks Dan! I got the extension. Is there any reason for running it under the drive shaft? The guide that goes over the drive shaft doesnt look like it will keep the wire in place?

Just installed my Tekin RX8 and the lead to the reciever is too short by an inch or so. Using a futuaba 603 reciever, anyone have a work around for this? Can you buy an extension?

Hi can anyone help? I'm building the car now and as soon as you compress the shock, the boot just sucks itself onto the shaft which stops free movement.

What do you suggest for the batteries? I'd like to use 2 packs (not a single 4s) but was advised that 2 x 2s packs may not handle the power drain

Also spares would I most likely need. eg; gaskets...

Thanks for the quick reply, yep I didnt realise how big the motor was untill I read a few threads. The mamba website suggested that power for a 1/8 buggy so I may need to limit the power.
