I've seen clowns in the modified Slash class (what the stock SC10's have to race in) with buggy tires and the fenders cut off. (not the carnage body)

What's the point of racing a Slash at that...

I don't see this with my trucks. What I notice is that the Slash rolls over much easier. The SC10 with it's LCG does not do this.

Owning both a Slash and SC10, I find the lack of control with the stock tires part of the appeal of these things. There are more than enough "in control" vehicles to race out there. My opinion only...

If you are going to show people how much fun they are, you need two. The big draw to these that you get over over forms or RC racing is it's body rubbing side by side racing.
