They are not a generic spur. On these cars the spur supports a bearing. I believe there was only a few companies that made spurs back in the day.

Marty, the F103 comes with 24mm wheels, and 26mm tires.

the problem is that there is a bearing in the middle of the Tamiya spur. Hpi used to make spurs for the F103 F1 cars, if you find them they will work.

Should come with a soft strip foam insert.
Get all the pinions you can. they are all Tamiya .04 module.

First thing the spacer under the rear motor mount is missing that will lower the rear of the car. second with the 24mm tires it will lower the car from the 26mm tires.

Adrian the car should be fine. there is a diff that can act like a slipper. in the old F1 car I adjusted the diff for on power slip. In the the Group C cars we let it slip just a bit as well.
