Do you have the 14t pinion on it now with the 90 spur ????

Your ESC will always run cooler with a smaller pinion / bigger spur.

Every time I've used the plugs from the ESC to the motor my wires got hot and I had cogging and hesitation, I stopped using them a long time ago.
Last year I was not sure which motor I wanted to use...
