It's really harder than you think to over tighten...

It's really harder than you think to over tighten the diff to make it totally locked up. Try getting it tight then hold the spur gear and rotate on tire, the other tire should rotate the opposite...

You are still confusing the diff with the slipper. The diff should never slip, that is what the slipper is for. The diff is only for allowing one wheel to turn at a higher speed than the inner wheel...

It's better to have the diff too tight than loose...

It's better to have the diff too tight than loose and just set the clutch so it slips the first couple feet off the line. I know some guys that tighten the diff all the way and leave it like that and...
