Ahhh Charles, i got the sanyos to explode at 46.56amp discharge after charging at 6 amps to a cut of temp of 48c let rest for 30 mins then did a controlled discharge starting from 10 amp increasing...

For our entertainment for this evening, I have just destroyed 24 Sanyo RC3600 cells and 24 IB4200 cells.

I did this by

1. Charging at 10c

2. Discharging at between 50-100amps

What you will find is that the new cells are charged at a higher rate, thus putin a high load onto the cell. The container that is made to hold the inners is appox the same as the lower capacity...
