You only need the smaller spur if gearing is an issue. For asphalt I do prefer the stock top deck, it has more overall traction than split decks.

96-100 should cover typical 17.5 fdr. You may need a 94 if you are running on a large track with the stock top deck to avoid pinion clearance...

Personally I would not buy tworks stuff, they are very poor quality. The officina ones are good quality, but you pay for it....

Officina sells ti ball ends. If you put the set screws too far into the balls, it won’t leave any room for the hex and you can strip them. Leave enough room, and you shouldn’t have any issues
