I'm sure the US 12X used the AE front end, certainly the manual only for the 12X only shows it with the optional US rear axle. Can't find a manual for the SP12SLX though.

Did they finally make front axles that fit the corally hubs (12M, euro etc) but with US front wheels?

If they stay true to the timeline then the next kit will have the split wishbone front end with the grp front brace ala SP12 Euro kit which I still have ;)
