I have never seen them but I imagine they have less coils so the spring is stiffer using the same wire. They would be stiffer than yellows.

I tried the 3 weight clutch this weekend set up with the weights full and it felt "heavy" to me. I used the MSR spring set at 1.8 with a .7 gap. I then tried it with the weights cut like the picture...

Yellow has a thinner wire but it has less coils which is why it is stiffer. I tested it on a $5000 machine so I am pretty sure it is accurate. Besides that if you try them, yellows will make your car...

The orginal 4 was part number HO136, the R is HO147 and I think the X is HO136-B. The X is the shortest, then 4 a little longer and R is the longest.
