I'm not even going to ask "why?". Just buy a generic battery tray with straps, and bolt it onto the chassis. Have a Dremel tool with you, 'cause you'll be chopping/hacking things up....

I was hoping he would be running some SCTs. I do believe he is only obligated to run Tekno's 1/8 scale platforms though.

Nope. I highly doubt a new revised ET410 2.0 platform will be coming out soon. That's just my thoughts since Tekno released the (EB/ET410 based) SCT410SL last year. And "soon" can mean many things to...

17mm Adapters

Are you sure you can't find something in ST/SC rubber that works?

Maybe it's just me,...

Pictured below is the back of ET410.2 manual. IMO, it's more realistic gearing recommendations than what the ET410 manual suggests. I'd probably try a 17T pinion if starting out with a 10.5T motor....

I have not seen any Tekno RC +2mm, or +3mm hexs. Exotek's 6.5mm (+2) and 7.5mm (+3) wheel hexes are the only ones I know of that are made for ET/EB axles.

Yes, those 1410 Castle Creations motors will fit nicely. They are only 52mm long. I run a 3652 Hobbywing G2 motor and still have room for larger ESC meant for 1/8 scale platforms.
