For me how an engine runs or performs in stock trim is irrelevant , how it runs after being Clocked is all that matters :blush:..... As a rule I find all the Euro 7 ports to be timed for wide open...

i think it would have more to do with the fuel...some fuels tolerate a tight deck, others do not........to date I have tested about 100 different engines on my dyno, including the PLus 4 and the same...

actually there is a sweet spot that will give more torque and more RPM....too much clearance hurts both top and bottom, too tight the engines just plain run funky !
