it was actually the quart of sidewinder fuel that i bought. It was actually bad... as soon as i switched back to my regular fuel the problem stopped.

Put my losi 454 through about 2 gallons now without any issues, then yesterday my engine started to sound like it was starving for fuel at idle when the temp reached low to mid 200's then started...
