The mamba monster 2 (i suggested above there) most definitely will run brushed motors (even high voltage). Simply look up the manual (drivers ed guide) on their website!

That's going to complicate things. Motors for 1/8 are generally designed for 4s lipo. ESCs designed for 3s might not work with a low turn 1/8 motor. I can't find the E-Revo you're referring to.. i...
