I think you should be fine. It may take some finesse, but it's worth a try. I'd just leave the side skirts of the body a little long while you fit it, and then cut the excess off if you don't need it.

Yeah, those are AE shocks with K car springs. That looks like an Avid shock tower, so I would guess Avid standoffs.

I use Tebo setups but he doesn't really have much for indoor (obviously not too common)

Never drove a Mugen. As for comparing K car to AE, no comparison. The K car is much easier to drive and can be pushed hard fairly easily. I changed all my cars to Kyosho and don't plan on switching....

I am running 40 wt front with 50% rebound and 32.5 wt rear with 25% rebound right now and love the way it feels.

Was running 45/35 with a lot of rebound and wasn't happy.

I don't doubt that one bit, the k car is amazing on every track because it is extremely planted and can be pushed hard without getting upset. I had the eb48 and fought the car every time I drove it....

Keep in mind, you're driving indoors; basically what the eb48 was designed for. mp9e is as good, but it really outshines the eb48 outdoors.

I just converted my tki3 to electric. It is really easy. Just buy the kyosho inferno brushless conversion kit. It makes it an exact mp9e tki. Since you have a spare, I'd go that route.
