If you want the extra rpm to be sure no one can pull away from you on a straight then the X7 is the go, The engines are not that far apart but the X7 has slightly longer legs

Its worth noting the Engine pictured was at about the 20 liter mark not 8 liters when it failed, Also I believe it may even be an Avid ceramic bearing fitted to it?, Don't look like steel balls to me...
