i buy rc stuff from over seas aswell, i get my f1s from hong kong for 200 bucks.
and mod motors are only 80 from the states.

its all to do with brand names.
i reckon its cheaper to race in mod than stock coz stock brushes and comms wear out quicker than the new v2 vantage mod motors.
