I heard the track was awsome today. Tire wear was about 1mm in the qualifier. I think Jeff and the whole Gulf Coast crew worked their butts off getting the track ready for a great race.

I think, on the masters class, you have to be 45 on the first day of qualifing.
Plus I think you have to have some kind of arrest record.

My favorite, is when people show up in their $60,000 car,with 3 or 4 thousand dollars worth of stuff,pay $90 a night for a hotel (for 3 or 4 days) and then complain about entry fees and tire wear....

The track will be fine for the nats.Tire wear was only on the rears.I used the same fronts for 15 miniutes of practice,and ran three 10 min. qualifiers on the same set of 40 fronts.

I got a chance to go race at this track last weekend. It is a great touring car track.They just got through re-sealing it, and it was nice.Lots of covered pit spaces, with electricity.I am sure those...
