thanks for the insight. i will play with the gearing. if that doesnt work, i have talked to some guys running the mamba pro and monster with this motor and similar gears. they dont have the issues....

makes sense. didnt know about the light to no load with BL systems. i though it would heat up the esc more turning a bigger pinion/smaller spur. but i am new to these things.
