i know they say not to do this, but have you tried taking the motor out and see if it still does it? Maybe something in the drivetrain is binding it.

i run the 1410 motor with the MMP. I know a few people who run the sidewinder setup with the normal esc, but in a SC10 4x4. much lighter truck. The sheer weight of the SCTE kills that ESC.

im assuming your novak 6.5 is sensored, and if so no, it wont match. the sidewinder wont run sensored motors like the MMP will

stock timing is 8, i kept it stock, but a buddy...

you know thats a damn good point...i've been having issues with my havoc pro where i lose everything and the only way to get it back is to turn it off then back on...maybe my switch is faulty

no sparking issues when you connect your battery given that there will already be a load on the wires?? i know in the cases when I've put a battery in after having forgotten to turn the switch off it...

this might be a stupid question but how are you removing the switch? just splicing the two wires together so it powers on when you plug in a battery?

and going up in pinion will actually make it hotter. you would either need to drop the pinion or increase the spur size. What spru are you running?

No. you can use a more powerful pack. the ESC will only take what it needs. Damage can occur though if you use a battery that is too weak for the application
