3 days on the new ESC and no issues at all. Horizon Hobbies verified it was a bad motor issue (sensor board was bad). Do yourself a favor though and insulate the speed control from being taped...

Getting both parts exchanged through my LHS, ended up getting an SMC pack to go with it just in case my battery is the issue. Keeping fingers crossed. Will keep the Tekin as a backup system.

Run it in an MP9E-TKI, smooth, awesome, killer brakes not needing a laptop to get to the good stuff via the programming box is a big plus for me. I have a friend who just put one in his 8ight-E 3.0...
