Have you updated the firmware/software on the Castle Link while connected to the Internet? Do that first. If you mean the Castle Fieldlink card device can't read it, you need to update the firmware...

I updated the firmware of both ESC and Fieldlink card and still when I plug the Fieldlink in and switch the ESC on, the alternating red lights all over the card light up...? The Fieldlink works fine...

That is an expensive lesson I learned years ago. NEVER just fix your ESC to the chassis with double sided tape. Besides using 2-4 pieces of double sided tape to protect the ESC from vibrations...
