Yes, that would be more practical. On the other hand i wanted to keep the mechanism setup of the original car, big motor under the hood, controls around the seat, and battery (gas tank) in the back....

The battery will fit in the back above the differential. I like that the motor is a bit oversized :sneaky: might have to change it from an 8T brushless to something with a bit more torque. I'll check...
