Nope. I race with a Futaba 3PDF and extend the antenna on the radio about 2/3 of the way, the car is setup as pictured. I have no glitching problems. Nice and tidy too.

Get a good ball driver - makes working the motor screws easy as pie!

The Hudy 2540 Allen Wrench + Ball Repl. Tip 2.5 x 120 mm is a good choice.

Agreed! I think the solution is better made gears. I'd love to see someone mill "proper" gears with perfect backlash for the Evo III and run them to see if they last.
