Yes on most modern cars it's a good idea to thread lock most rotating parts that go into metal, the manual is very good and lets you know to do so on most the parts needed.

Yes 36 is the compound, I imagine it would be the EXX R3 which is the latest Sweep tyre as far as I am aware, in the UK it is the fastest tyre by quite a bit outdoors

It's mostly a mod thing on asphalt, the cars produce that much downforce and have so much traction as well as too much power the tyre advancement just hasn't kept up. It's looking like for next year...
