You don't want the diff rings to be too polished...

You don't want the diff rings to be too polished though and that is how they usually come. A diff ring that is too polished can cause the diff to slip so that one reason you sand them.

I got the 1268 to fit in mine. I just had to take the rubber piece off that goes into the servo and don't use any of the black spacers so the servo sits as far back as possible.
