I doubt anybody has really done it. The lack of voltage will mean lack of power to the degree that the amount of motor you'd need to get any sort of speed out of it would thusly overheat in a hurry. That's why even the intentionally slow TC classes like VTA will use 2s with a 25.5 instead of 1s with anything.

O thank you for the information i thought something like 3t motor on 1s would work good for really tight technical tracks.

Good on you mate
Ignore the "advice" above. If people weren't going to experiment with things, we wouldn't have any revolutions or evolutions in our hobby

e.g. we have folks running 17.5T F1 and 13.5T boosted mini ... why? Cos they could and they enjoy it ... if you enjoy 1S touring go for it!

It's all about having fun and enjoying yourself mate ... good on yas!

My self and Paul Wynn tested 4 cell mod touring car , i ran a 4 cell mi3 with a 3.5turn motor and we had to use a receiver pack to last the 5 minutes , but that was with 4 cell 3300 mah. im sure with the technology today it should be pretty easy. the 3.5 with 4cell was about as fast as a 10.5 with 6cells but lighter and super smooth on power.
