Default Help needed for B44 pinion & spur gears

Hi I have a Team Associated B44.1 & running a LRP 10.5t my internal ratio is 2.5-1 my spur gear 81 & I was thinking of using a pinion of 20 & that would give me a final of 10.13 is that OK for a starting point or not

That would be a conservative starting point. Typical gearing on a 6.5 in those cars was 18/81 so on a 10.5, if you need more power, you can go into the 21-22 pinion range with that spur.
