Default Traxxas SLASH vs Hpi BLITZ

hello.
i'm wondering wich would be better for me if i'm a rookie and this would be my first rc truck. i heard a lot about this two but i can't decide because the BLITZ has 2WD and SLASH 4WD. isn't better the 4wd on mud/ snow?

2wd is not fun if your just bashing around, go with the slash 4wd as others have said.

Very, very few places carry HPI Blitz parts, equally few places don't carry Slash ones. Whether you decide on a 2 or 4wd model, the Slash is the way to go.

The brushless version will be faster out of the box and won't slow down as the motors' brushes wear out - if the price difference isn't an issue, you can't go wrong with brushless.

If you're looking to buy a Traxxas 4x4 I don't think they sell a brushed version..but if you went 2wd drive yes you could upgrade to brushless later..

Fyi
You can stil have alot of fun bashing with a 2wd..

i don't know yet if they have 4x4 brushed but i will ask the website from where i want to make the order. because i found one around 325$ and i want to buy it.

ok, i understood, brushless is better. but how big is the diffence ? i read about brushed motors can reach 50kmh (around 30mph), what can reach the brushless ones ?

Traxxas Slash 4x4 only comes with a brushless motor..and I think with proper gearing in a slash you can get 40 to 50 mph using a lipo maybe faster been awhile since I messed with a slash..
