Default Servo doest return to center alignment

My son is struggling with his B44.3 servo coming back to center. Some times it will be way off and causes steering issues. Is this a sign of a bad servo?

Unless he is running some sort of gyro or AVC that likes to "help" drive the servo for you, then yes it is most likely bad.

Sounds like a gear inside is broken.

Check the steering assembly.. bearing in bottom n top.. check 4 binding and rack being over tightened.. then unhook servo and do a bench test if all is ok in rack then Servo is issue.. might also add a glitch buster cap to rx..

It *could* be a bad servo, but if you have a servo-saver attached it might also be causing the problem. Take it off and check to make sure the springs are all aligned properly and when you put it back on make sure the screw is tight and not stripped. If you find anything wrong with it, don't try to fix it, just replace it with a better quality one.

Yeah, I would check the servo saver first too.

Have you resetting to the neutral position of the servo then connecting it back up again?
