Default Help! Front aluminum one way

Hi everyone!

Quick question about aluminum front one way diff.
I just bought a one way for my Sakura XI sport, the part listed as replacement is SAK-49/v2/pk.

I installed everything and remark that nothing hold the outer joints in the diff.
There is no bolt holding the 2 outer joints together and they can move lateraly by about .250" and are retained only by the CV joint.

The bearing inside are needle bearings and I cant see how the outer joints wont move lateraly while running.

Is this normal?

Thanks
Hugo

Usually the end of the cvd bone will sit in the output shaft like normal, but there will be either a small sponge or buffer that sits in the outdrive.
