If there is a way to cut a slot into the grub screw then you can use a flat blade screw driver, I used a cheap dremel type rotary tool with very thin cutting disc but that was only on a counter sunk screw so was easy to get to.
Another option is to try a reverse drill bit, or reverse thread drill bit or whatever it is they are called, another option is an "easy-out", they have a reverse thread that screws into the screw head, may have to drill out the grub screw to get it to work though.
Heat the grub screw before trying to get it out, the heat helps loosen tight & threadlocked screws.

Im with OZZII

If it's a 1.5mm then a 1.59 imperial would do the trick.

Otherwise all you can try is jam a flat blade in there and hope for the best. Or find a reverse threaded screw of types. Maybe a turnbuckle...

Running out of ideas now... eeek.

Ya I was thinking I would need some sort of screw extractor like maybe left hand drill bits or easy outs. I have tried cutting a groove in to the grub screw to use a flat head screw driver but I can't cut in to it enough for the flat head screwdrive to bite the groove and remove the set screw. Unless I start cutting in to the drive hub and i don't really want to do that.

As a last resort you can drill off the screw head. With the head gone you will just have to unscrew the shaft of the screw with pliers. The remaining screw should only be finger tight if it is screwed into aluminium however may require effort if it was screwed into plastic.

umm with a grub screw there is no head. And the Grub screw are screwed in to steel with gel loctite.

Never tried easy outs or left hand bits. My last resort is to jb weld an Allen key into the stripped screw, wait a day and then remove the screw. Good luck

This is good advice. For a grub screw, probably the best bet. Hard to find an extractor kit small enough to get a <2mm grub screw out. Easier and cheaper to sacrifice an old allen key.

Micro easy out. If you have an rc car you should have one.

You can try putting a piece of wax paper in the head so the hex has so,etching to bite to break it loose, sometimes it works, you can try slotting it with a dremel but I doub there is anything sticking up to slot, you could drill it out aswell

On like a sway bar, if you used loctite on it, I would suggest one battle at time. Acetone bath for a while or cook it in the oven or with a heat gun a while to break down the loctite. Then do whatever magic trick is needed to back the screw out.

What's the word cptklink? Any luck? Are you certain they are stripped? Reason I ask, I just found out the Robinson racing pinion I put in my ruckus has a 1/16" hex screw, slightly larger than 1.5mm. Thought I stripped it with my 1.5mm hex wrench but it's all good with a 1/16 wrench.
