Spy Esc question

Spy Esc question
ok i got a car in a trade that has the spy esc in it. i charged the batt. turned on the car and all i get is a red light from the esc. there isnt any distuctions in the box and i dont know what it could be im kind of new to elec. do you think maybe it needs to be reset? any help would be great.

Push the button until it flashes, then pull the trigger to full throttle. When the light changes, switch to full reverse. That should be it.

actually i think that its the rx. it dont turn so ill find out
