Red face Stripped Wheel

I stripped the interior hex socket on one of my wheels (desperado wheel). I made a rookie error and didn't check the wheel nuts after a rather rough (read brutal) bashing session. I am wondering if there is a way to salvage the wheel or if I need to just replace it.

If I must replace it is it possible to salvage the tire from the wheel? I have badlands tires with lots of tread mounted.

Thanks in advance for your time.
Mike

You can glue the hex in as long as it has the hex that slides over a pin and not a pin that goes threw the hex.. otherwise you'll never get the wheel off again...If you can't glue it you can try boiling the rim/tire and maybe salvage the tire... It all depends sometimes boiling makes the glue come apart sometimes not..

yeah unfortunately my pin goes through the hex...it's a conversion. So I guess I'll try my luck with boiling and get a new wheel. Thanks for your quick responses both of you
