TRC Foam ring decal?
I feel stupid even asking this, but I have to know. What is the purpose of these things? For use on asphalt and carpet? wtf

Hey! don't feel stupid. Thats why we have these forums. 
So we can all ask questions, we all had to start somewhere.
Those ring decals are there to prevent the tire from chunking. It doesn't work 100% of the time but it does lessen the chances of chunking your tires, just a little protection I normally just put them on my rear tires. Also make sure that they don't start scuffing the ground once your tires get smaller.
