Pan car tires are either a foam or rubber cap type of tire. Because they are competition-oriented, they generally come pre-mounted on rims designed to be strong and light and wheel choices are limited.
The wheels you have are touring car wheels. Some time in the thread I linked to mated with some time on Ebay/Google chasing down the adapters (they were discontinued years ago) and you should be able to get them on there.

Mark, I know i'm asking for alot, but could you post a couple ebay links to the specific parts I need to convert the car to newer wheels/tires?
I have no idea what I need specifically and dont want to waste money on the wrong parts

Because the parts are so old, they're not always on Ebay - I don't see any right now but what you need is BRP Racing part#6745 . You'll just have to keep an eye out or you could contact BRP and see if they might happen to have a lead on any.

Thanks mark. Is that for the front or back?
Is this thing worth sinking cash into or should I just buy a newer used one?
What's a good touring/road car? Without going crazy with prices? id prefer brushless

That looks pretty nice.
How about the rtr brushless HPI sprint 2? Is it worth it?

Whats wrong with it Panda? Is it brushless? Fast?
Yes, I'm just looking for a car to tool around with in parking lots etc. That I can throw a few different bodies on.
I'd like a pretty quick brushless car.

Belt tension was really loose on the front and rear, even to the point where it was skipping. The shocks were really leaky on mine, the diffs were a major pain to try to get into, as the whole front or rear of the car had to be taken apart. Belt rubbed on the chassis and on the battery (not enough clearance). Stock springs were really hard and progressive for street running. Stock ball ends were terrible, and the turnbuckles bent rather easily. The shocks could not be mounted on some of the tower holes, as there is not room. The arms also bound up pretty badly. 90% of the screws are self tapping which is not good. I had no breakages other than a belt that snapped, but with that long list of things, I find it hard to recommend the car.
